I feel like I can stop writing now. (And actually when I read this, I wondered if Jane Brody has been reading my blog—much of the recommended food sounds familiar…)

    Jane Brody put together a cook book years ago called The Good Food Book; I refer to it quite a bit for some of the good stews/soups and simple desserts she includes in it. Some of the information is a little dated, but it’s an excellent overall cookbook if anyone needs a resource for cooking with whole foods, with an emphasis on low fat food that actually tastes good. :-)
